I am a theorist working on elementary particle physics. My particular interest lies in the dynamics of strong interactions which are being explored at high energy particle colliders. The high collision energies create a high density of elementary quanta (quarks and gluons), leading to novel collective and non-linear phenomena. My group carries out numerical and theoretical computations for a variety of processes that occur in hadronic collisions and we compare our calculations with experimental data from current high energy accelerators such as the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider at Brookhaven National Lab and the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
