Main Content

Congratulations to Marcos Rigol, Associate Professor of Physics, on his recent election to Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS)! Professor Rigol was nominated and elected through the Division of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics "for studies of quantum states of matter in and out of equilibrium."  As stated by the APS, this is a distinct honor signifying recognition by one's professional peers and is based solely upon exceptional contributions to the physics enterprise. Marcos joins a distinguished list of 30 colleagues in our department who are also APS Fellows.
