New clues in the hunt for cosmic neutrinos

In new research published in Physical Review Letters, Kohta Murase, assistant professor of Physics, astronomy and astrophysics, reports that the ultrahigh energy neutrinos detected by the IceCube detector may originate in very dense cosmic objects that block the escape the of high energy gamma rays that are produced simultaneously.
