Research Interests

I am currently working on developing experiments to study NV center defects in Diamond.  These experiments utilize the unique properties of the NV center, the simple optical addressability and manipulation, to perform nanoscale magnetometry of magnetic nanostructures.

This research continues along my general interest in spintronics, the use of the spin degree of freedom to develop new types of electronic devices with possible applications for future computing technologies.

Member of the research group of Nitin Samarth.
