Many of you may recall Silvina from the time she spent with me as a postdoc about 15 years ago. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Buenos Aires before coming to PSU. Silvina began as a theorist working on superfluid helium, but most of her recent research is concerned with adsorption of classical fluids in many environments, from porous materials (including MOFs) to nanotubes to flat surfaces. Classical and quantum simulations are her primary research tools.
