# Special CAMP Seminar: Phase transitions in two-orbital sysems with Hubbard interactions and Hund's couplings

Local correlations in multiorbital systems have been known to exhibit intesting emergent phnomena. In cases where the degeneracy is lifted by the difference of bandwidths, effecitive strengths of correlations become diffent in each orbital. We examine two-orbital Hubbard model with different bandwidths. We use the dynamical mean-field theory combined with the continuous-time quantum Monte Carlo method, and find that there emerges a peculiar slope-reversed first-order Mott transition between the orbital-selective Mott phase and the Mott insulator phase in the presence of Ising-type Hund’s coupling. The orbital-selective Mott phase turns out to show non-Fermi liquid behavior. We discuss the detailed nature of the transitions in the system.
