FTheory: Primordial Black Hole Dark Matter from UV Physics

The recent proposal that the black holes detected by LIGO could comprise all or part of the dark matter offers an alternative to WIMPs and axions, where dark matter could be comprised of solely Standard Model Particles. The mass range lies within an observationally viable window. I will discuss if we can motivate the peculiar mass range from a UV point of view.
