Scottish Country Dancing in State College PA
In State College, Pennsylvania, there is Scottish Country Dancing most
Tuesdays at 7:30 pm. Normally we dance on a good wooden floor at the
Ferguson township elementary school, 215 W. Pine St., in Pine Grove
Mills, a few miles outside of State College. (The school is on route
45 a block or so west of the center of Pine Grove Mills.) But when
our room at the school is not available, we dance in another local
school, so it is worth checking ahead of time to know where we will
dance.
We do not meet when the State College schools are not in
session.
While we are happy to welcome and encourage newcomers, we do request
that beginners contact our instructor Martha Anderson — see
below — concerning scheduling.
We have a dance party from time to time with live music by
Strath Hanna.
For more information, contact
Martha Anderson at +1 (814) 234-8769.
Our group is called the Nittany Scottish Country Dancers.
State College is the home of
Penn State University.
